I’ve been a designer my whole career and have worked in a number of different industries. Everything from studios to internal design teams and from startups to fortune 100 companies. Doing design work for B2B and B2C customers as responsive web apps or for Android or iOS.
As the first design hire I worked on all areas of the application. When I started we began by expanding the application from a simple page app that was just a targeting platform to include opportunity management, doctor and hospital profiles, sales, scheduling, product setup and creation, contracting, and territory creation, planning, tracking and management. Essentially, moving the product towards the end-to-end management of the medical device sales process.
Short project where I had to hit the ground running. Created a new design system and iterations of the new application design, while also working on features for the existing version of the product. This included a new VOIP product among other features.
I started working on two claims applications: one to allow customers to submit damage photos and the second a video chat application for adjusters and customers to communicate and share damage and repair information. I also inherited a third product to reduce the cost of creating damage estimates for home and auto claims.
Here, I started by redesigning a flight and introducing a hotel search web application as it was converted over to React app. I also worked on several projects to expand the application and improve user experience and conversions. One of these was a new alert and flight tracking system to help users make better decisions about when to buy as well as be informed about how good or bad of a deal they are receiving.
At BCBS, I designed applications for internal users, customers, and healthcare providers, for both native devices and the web. This included internal portals for the various personas like doctors and customers as well as a health management system where I created an html/css prototype for feedback and testing purposes.
